An Epic Wedding at Schönbrunn

A BRUTALIST & IMPERIAL LOVE STORY

A wedding of this scale—over 270 guests—is more than just a celebration; it’s a high-energy journey through the heart of Vienna. For bride and broom, both talented architects, every detail had to resonate with their passion for design and structure.
The Architectural Journey: We started the day with a focused getting ready session at Hotel Das Triest, followed by an agape in Schwechat. But the true architectural highlight was the ceremony at the Wotruba Church (Kirche Zur Heiligsten Dreifaltigkeit). Built in the mid-70s, this brutalist masterpiece of 152 asymmetric concrete blocks provided an avant-garde backdrop that perfectly mirrored the couple’s professional background. It’s a design you simply never forget.
Imperial Grandeur at Schönbrunn: The "icing on the cake" was the dinner at the Orangerie in Schönbrunn Palace. This world-class venue speaks for itself—an imperial space grand enough to host 270 guests while maintaining an air of exclusive elegance.
Flawless Execution: Managing a logistics-heavy wedding across four locations requires a top-tier team. Susanne and the Hochzeitshummel team were essential. Their experience ensured that the plan was followed flawlessly from the first light of a rainy morning to the final dance at dawn.
The Power of Documentary: The weather shifted from a rainy morning to a radiant sunny afternoon, matching the rising energy of the day. By nightfall, the room was alive with guests dancing to the infectious rhythms of Croatian music.
When the couple saw the final gallery, their first reaction was: "We missed so many stories!" That is the true value of a wedding documentary. While the couple is in the center of the whirlwind, we are there to capture the quiet smiles, the loud laughter, and the hidden moments they didn't even know happened.

The Pulse of  The Moment

The magic is in the moments you didn't even know I was there.

Released Emotions

Authenticity is the soul of every great photograph; a kiss is just a kiss, but the emotion behind it tells the story.

The seconds following the ceremony are some of the most powerful in a wedding documentary. No direction needed—just the raw victory of love captured in motion.

MOTION & MAGIC

The Rhythm of The Night

From the graceful first steps to the high-energy pulse of the Croatian dance floor.

Dance is the hidden language of the soul; photography is the art of freezing that language in its most vibrant state.
The first dance is the bridge between the formal elegance of the day and the wild celebration of the night. In the grand hall of the Schönbrunn Orangerie, the air fills with a different kind of magic.

Elegance in Motion

Beyond the tradition lies the truth.

This is the essence of wedding photo-journalism. No posing, no direction—just the raw, elegant outburst of joy as they step out of St. Jakob’s as one. We don't just capture the exit; we capture the heartbeat of the moment.

A wedding is not just a series of planned events; it is a collection of fleeting moments that happen in the blink of an eye. As a photographer, our mission is to capture the stories you were too busy living to notice. Because when the music fades and the cake is gone, these photographs are the only windows back into the soul of your celebration
